The MyFDB final reveal, and your chance to meet Avatar’s Zoe Saldana
Fashion Week is a mere 3 weeks away and the world of couture is descending on New York. For those who's lives are so connected to fashion, this is a week of great importance and reverence. <—– Don't skip straight to the bottom for the twitter clue —->
For most people, this is a time to put away your dreams of being the next Marc Jacobs, leading a design house like Louis Vuitton. Neither will you grace any stage, cat walk, or other semi-straight line where people care about what you are wearing, or not wearing in the case of Brooklyn Decker (for instance). The disposable camera you invariably would have purchased at the airport will not get you a Clio or a seat next to Annie at Vanity Fair.
No, for you it's one eye on Twitter for those up-to-the-minute posts about who's wearing, revealing, announcing, etc. and the other scouring one of hundreds of blog entries for images and info on what's happening. If only there was a way to be there, in the middle of it all. If only someone would whisk you away to fairyland to be one of the important people. Dress you, style you, give you entrance to exclusive parties. Oh, if only…
Could there really be such a person, a defender of dreams and bringer of good things – a Na'vi in…well, not exactly shining OR armor, but you know what I mean.
(Horns blaring) My Fashion Database is coming to the fashion rescue. You've heard the details and know the players of this once-in-a-lifetime event. Since everyone in the world has seen Avatar, we can only assume you know Zoe Saldana. She's like, the biggest movie star in Hollywood (just not on your roof – reference anyone? and there are two right answers here).
As we mentioned before, all you have to do is Follow on Twitter and Fan on Facebook. And to be sure you are paying attention, you must RT the secret decoder message to your Twitter followers. Place this exactly as it is in your TweetDeck, HootSuite, uberTweet, whatever you use to post.
RT @MyFDB I want to go…ooh, ooh take me, take me my #myfdbhero http://blog.myfdb.com/fashionweek2010
We C U!

I won't give up til I'm in there like swimwear, lol. I need this — if not for the fashion, because I have twin 3 year old boys that I love dearly but need a break from! But mostly for the fashion *wink*
