Obama Rocks Prabal Gurung

Mar 10, 2010 By Amy

A big congratulations goes out to Prabal Gurung for getting his stylish wear on our First Lady, Michelle Obama. Yesterday she wore a dress by Gurung when she officially handed over her inauguration gown, designed by Jason Wu, to the Smithsonian. Prabal is no stranger to high-profile clients, but Mrs. Obama now puts him into a mainstream realm and we couldn’t be more excited!

Gurung has literally been on cloud 9 over all the positive attention he’s received by getting the Mrs. O stamp of approval. Yesterday he tweeted the photo abo above and said: “Y’all dreams do come true. First Lady Mrs. O in my spring 2010 dress. I am so happy.”

If you’re craving more of Gurung’s collections visit his official website for more looks. A big kudos once again!
