Catherine Maladrino and Keisha Whitaker highlighting Malandrino’s S/S looks

The always stunning, Catherine Malandrino threw a party at her maison this past weekend in celebration of her S/S 2010 looks. Along with hostess, Keisha Whitaker, Malandrino told the audience that her inspiration for the season came from international travels. With influences ranging from an African woman’s dress to tropical hues, her pieces are truly eclectic.

Many of her pieces can be interchanged or layered to create a unique summer outfit. Malandrino’s prints are bold and exciting, plus there’s extensive attention to detail with hand beaded garments and intricately designed leather goods. The collection stands the test of time, and nothing is too wild that it won’t be in again next season. We’re currently coveting the turquoise floor length dress and the purple leather crop jacket.
