What’s better than an�afternoon fashion show in�Venice, Italy? A�daytime show inspired by�and taking place in�St. Tropez, France. After revealing Chanel‘s 2010 Cruise collection in�Italy, Karl Lagerfeld moved the�2011 Cruise show to�St. Tropez.

The�event took place outside of�a�local cafe with guests seated in�bright red director’s chairs and�local patrons watching from their yachts. Models hit the�pavement with gladiator sandals, kitten heels, flip-flops, or�were completely barefoot and�merely carried their footwear. For�the�big finale, Georgia May Jagger was accompanied out on�a�motorcycle and although the�bike stalled out, it was a�hit with the�crowd.

Elements of�the�resort town are found all over Lagerfeld’s designs. From the�whimsical free flowing dresses to�bohemian-chic wraps and�bathing suits, the�collection also echoes memories from the�60′s and�70′s eras. Chanel‘s latest cruise looks are casual yet glamorous.
