Lara Stone Slips Into Her Calvins
Stone is no stranger to ad campaigns, having already worked with heavy hitters such as: Versace, Prada, and Louis Vuitton. However, it’s rare for Calvin Klein to select the same model to use across its three brands.
Francisco Costa, the women’s creative director of Calvin Klein Collection told WWD, the model was right for his fall collection. “I conceived my fall 2010 collection with a self-aware and assured woman in mind,” he said. “For me, Lara was the perfect choice for the new campaign because she is a woman who epitomizes confidence and sensuality.” After reviewing Stone’s work on MyFDB it’s easy to see where he got that opinion.
