Armani Exchange In 3-D!!
We already have fashion shows presented in 3-D, so we should’ve known that 3-D ad campaigns were just around the corner and it appears that Armani Exchange is leading the way. As reported by WWD, their new ads will entail “print, outdoor, a music video and an interactive online component on its Web site. The 3-D print ads, along with 3-D glasses, will appear in the September issues of GQ, Interview and V magazines.”
The climax of this advertising strategy is a 2.5 minute music video called “2020/SpeedStyle” which fans will be able to watch on the brand’s site — of course, they’ll have to pick up their 3-D glasses first.
Their print ads were shot by Matthew Scrivens, who is no stranger to the A|X lens. This ad campaign just gives us one more reason to look forward to September issues.
