MyFDB EXCLUSIVE: Molly Sims Unveils Why She’s “Graceful and Grateful”
What current projects are you working on and where can we expect to see you next?
For the past year I have been working hard on both of my jewelry lines that can be found [on] GraycebyMollySims.com and HSN.com. Jewelry and accessories have always been a huge passion of mine. I am hoping to get back into TV next year, just trying to find the right project.
How have you witnessed the fashion industry evolve since you started modeling?
Fashion is always evolving. It has definitely become more accessible because of advances in technology and the internet. You do not even have to travel to any of the fashion shows anymore because they are all viewable online. Also, lower-end chains like H&M, Zara and Forever 21 have become much more fashionable.
MyFDB noticed you have a jewelry line, Grayce. What does Grayce stand for?
The name Grayce stands for what my mother always told me to be in life, “Graceful and Grateful.”
As a noteworthy face in fashion, how would you describe your personal style?
My style is usually one of the four “Grayce girls”: Gypset/Bohemian, City Sophisticate, Glamour Girl or All-American. I am always mixing and matching. I will never be too trendy, always classic. Fashion gives you the ability to play dress up.
I am definitely passionate about the Friends of El Faro charity. You can sponsor a child from Casa Hogar Sion for only $24.00 a month. The money goes to feeding the children, keeping them safe and sending them to school.
Lastly, what advice do you have for aspiring fashion industry hopefuls?
Intern, Intern, Intern. If there is someone who inspires you or that you look up to, get your foot in the door and be part of the pulse!
A big “Thank You” to Molly Sims for taking the time to talk to MyFDB! Make sure to visit the official Grayce by Molly Sims website and follow her on Twitter @MollyBSims.
