Salt Lake City Street Style: A Wonderfully White Holiday With A Warm Wardrobe

Dec 24, 2010 By Lauren Valenti

For me, the holidays just aren’t the same without a dusting (or a few feet) of snow on the ground. I just love bundling up in cozy sweaters, scarves, hats, mittens and boots. But living in a cold climate requires that the mastery of fashionable layering. This means you have to look effortless chic while still staying warm and avoiding the bulk of layers upon layers. To show you what I’m talking about I scoured the streets of (my hometown), Salt Lake City, Utah in hopes of finding warm winter street style from the cold weather experts themselves. I enjoyed their cross-body purses, army jackets and color schemes. Clothing and fashion aside, Salt Lake City has coffee shops and public fire pits on almost every street corner to help fight the bitter cold.

Hope everyone stays warm and fashionable this winter and holiday season!
