While pre-fall may not be the most exciting name for a season, it’s actually one of the most important. Because pre-fall collections are in stores the longest (from May through July), the garments are just as pivotal as their spring and fall counterparts. So what’s on the pre-fall agenda for 2011? Well, accordingly to Diane von Furstenberg, Burberry Prorsum and Helmut Lang it’s all about dressing up! Pre-fall suddenly has a more formal feel to it. I guess that means I need to start planning my pre-fall party calendar?
