A Few Fashion Movers & Shakers

Jan 6, 2011 By Vaneza

Although the work-week is almost over, that doesn’t mean that the fashion industry has stopped or slowed down one bit…here’s a quick recap of today’s movers and shakers!

-Eric Marechalle has been named the chief executive officer of fashion house Kenzo by the conglomerate LVMH Mot Hennessy Louis Vuitton.

-The vice president of global marketing and communications at Juicy Couture, Kate Foster, is no longer with the firm.

-Lucky‘s former creative director, Andrea Linett took over as the creative director of eBay fashion…we think this is a perfect match given that Lucky’s aesthetic is quite commerce based.

And then there’s the biggest move (of the year thus far) that we are still waiting for! Who will replace Carine Roitfeld!? With 2011 just beginning, we truly believe that change is a good thing…best of luck to all!
