Is That An Awkward Aniston On The Cover of Allure?
It’s no secret that I am a HUGE “Friends” fan…My favorite character (aside from Monica when she had her over-compulsive moments) was Rachel. Come on, she was every fashionista’s dream…with super cute clothes, the “Rachel” haircut, a doting cute Ross and a dream job at Ralph Lauren, who didn’t want to be Miss Pitt (oops!)…er, rather Miss Jennifer Aniston!
Well, she’s certainly been through a lot and has come a long way from her days as Rachel Green; yet I can’t help but feel bad for the lady who graces the latest cover of Allure. Is that even Aniston herself!? It appears as if someone went a little “air brush happy” over her face- which makes me sad because I genuinely think Aniston is pretty. Her eyes are way too intense and half her mouth has gone missing…sadness!
What’s worse is the matching editorial titled “Jennifer’s Body” (no relation to horrible Megan Fox movie) photographed by Michael Thompson. Okay, in all honesty I am excited for an editorial where Aniston isn’t topless in some sort of denim but come on? Silk pajamas? AND a stuffed animal?! What exactly was fashion editor Paul Cavaco and prop stylist Jason Curtis thinking?! This is Aniston, not Miley Cyrus! Maybe I am overreacting here, what are your thoughts on the cover and editorial? Age appropriate or just awkward Aniston?
