I exfoliate weekly, moisturize daily, and ALWAYS use sunless tanner. My skin always looks soft, smooth, glowing, and un-wrinkled!

One of my spring/summer and all the time skin secret is:
I choose a very mild cleanser that will absorb oil excess but on the other hand won’t dry my skin. After washing my face with cleanser I apply lightweight moisturizer. I Exfoliate once a week and use SPF protection also I make sure that my foundation or moisturizer has minimum SPF 15 protection. Also use lip balms with SPF to protect my lips from dryness. Thanks Xoxo

I like to mix a little bit of foundation with my sunscreen.

After a day in the sun i use a dime amount of vaseline balm on my check bones and forehead, it keeps my skin hydrated and locks moisture in all night long. For hot summer days i stick to a creme with tons of vitamin E and minimum SPF 30. Happy Sunbathing xoo

Not many people think about my number one secret for good skin… Exercise! it gets the blood circulating and delivers fresh oxygen to the skin all over my body. My second rule is for great skin is that it needs lots of hydration, so I drink H20 and stay away from soda. Of course my last summer secret is to protect my skin from the harsh effects of the sun using a sunscreen. Hello sunshine!

  • Brenda

I make sure my foundation and moisturizer both have SPF so I never have to worry if I forget sunscreen!

  • Ari

I wash my face with an oil-free gentle face wash in the morning and at night. I always follow my morning cleansing routine with sunscreen with an SPF of at least 30. Better safe than sorry! In the summer, my skin has a decent level of moisture because of the humidity of the air so I don’t always moisturize at night. I recently started using the Bliss ‘pore-fector’ gadget to push out all of the gunk from a long day of school– it works wonders! Occasionally I will wipe my face with diluted tea tree oil to refresh my skin and mind after a hot day under the sun. That’s about it!

Don’t forget to tone before you moisturize. I always say its like putting frosting on a cake, it doesn’t penetrate. Exfoliate weekly as well, you can use sugar or salt as a body scrub.

  • Maureen

I use baby oil instead of shave cream, my legs are supple and soft, then a very thin sheen of vaseline seals them up with that amazing shine I covet on the catwalks. Just thinking about summer is making me :) it is still so cold here in Chicago!

  • Crissy D.

Exfoliate and use sunscreen is the best advice for spring and summer.

  • Tiffany

I never tan. I always use sunless tanner. Pick a good brand. It REALLY matters. I often use one with a bit of shimmer to it. I also like to use a shimmery bronzer of a similar color on my legs and to highlight my chest bones.

  • Patricia H

I use sunscreen daily even on my lips and use lots of lotion.

  • Kim M

My summer secret is just plain old sun and fun! I love to be outdoors in the water having fun with my family. I was blessed with an olive complexion so I have never burned. I drink alot of water and make sure after I shower I moisturize all over. Summer is my favorite time of year!

  • Melinda Singer

Exfoliate before using a sunless tanning product!

  • http://kpfusion.blogspot.com kimmie

In the summer I always exfoliate and moisturize, but I also try to limit the amount of makeup I wear: no heavy foundations or powders, and limited eyeliner. I like to have a fresh, dewy look bc its so humid here-heavy makeup would clog my pores!

  • Abhishek Duggal

Expose yourself to the sun only in moderation!

  • http://www.ofhangersandhearts.blogspot.com Alison

When youre looking to catch a tan dont bother lying on a towel. I learned that swimming, walking, and playing sports in your swimsuit is the best way to get an even glowing tan. Plus it keeps you in shape!

  • Emily

Summer is the season when its easiest to get dehydrated so my number one summer skin rule is to stay hydrated! Dehydrated skin is flakey and dull, it also associted with premature aging. Dehydrated skin doesn’t absorb moisturizer and self tanner as well as hydrated skin. Stay hydrated to have bright skin that will allow Clarins products to work their best!

  • Tanya

During the summer, I skip the foundation and only use a tinted moisturizer!..Also I need my skin to feel hydrated and refreshed so I place a few slices of cucumber & a tiny drop of facial mosisturizer in a water-filled bottle and spray it on my face!..Wow it makes me feel so rejuventated! I recommend it to everyone! :)

  • Maureen

Shaving with babyoil instead of shave gel leaves my skin beyond smooth! Can’t wait for summer so gloomy here in Chitown!

  • Melissa Kelley

I change from my foundation to a tinted moisturizer. It helps to keep my skin moisturized during these hot summer days here in Florida.

I keep my skin hydrated and fresh by using Clarins Fix Makeup Refreshing Mist during the summer. Feels great year round but
    especially during the summer.

  • reva skie

Grapeseed oil makes a great post shower moisturizer. It’s mild, gentle, it works great, and you can get it unscented. It works great for shaving, too.

  • Mindee Larsen

I use powder not liquid foundation in the summer so it doesn’t run & if it’s really hot then i just use a little bit of bronzer over a tinted moisturizer! <3

I START EVERY MORNING WITH A HYDRATING MASK FOLLOWING FACE CREAM WITH SPF, NEVER LEAVE MY HOUSE WITHOUT A BOTTLE OF THERMAL WATER SPRAY FOR FACE AND USE IT BASICALLY EVERY 30 MINUTES OR SO TO HYDRATE AND REFRESH.

  • Cat H

Always wear sunscreen and always wear sunglasses.

  • Betty Antibus

wear a smile, you will always look radiant

  • Laura Escalante

I start my day with drinking 2 cups of warm temperature water, with this it self you skin gets the elasticity back, so you dont have to worry about always putting on lotion, after I put on some face hidrating lotion and I always carry on my MAC FIX + witch I believe is Fabulous.

  • arshi

Summer secret: I use rose water mixed with sandalwood powder once a week on my face in the summer. It’s not only cooling, but takes away any impurities, excess oil and leaves the skin fresh and soft.

I also use SPF 50 daily in summer and a spf 15 lip balm.

Sunscreen!!! And drinking lots of water!

  • http://arainymelody.blogspot.com Christina

I think this year’s spring/summer secret for me is sticking to the basics. I’m trying to work out, eat, and sleep better. I think those things are especially essential because I am a college student and I’m prone to a lot of irregular habits. Since the weather will definitely be hotter, I don’t want to clog my pores up with too much makeup or have it slide off by the end of the day. All I really want to do is have natural radiant skin while keeping my face protected and moisturized!

Thanks FDB for having awesome contests all the time! :)

  • Christina Z

I wear sunscreen and drink lots of water : )
