J. Crew Fall 2011: When Downtown Boy Meets Uptown Girl Fashion
After seeing the latest images for J. Crew‘s Fall 2011 collection I had to ask myself…”Have I been living under a fashion rock or did the brand really step up their style game for their latest collection?” And in all honesty, I think the latter is the answer. I couldn’t help but oooh and awe as I browsed through the outfits, which mixed hip masculiinity with a very chic and feminie touch for women. Given that I’m way more into nuetrals, I became slightly obsessed with the way the collection paired classic (and wearable) pieces such as deep pleated trousers and sweaters and trench coats with jewel colored and monochromatic looks (such as the one above in all orange).
What I love most about the collection is that everything looks wearable and transitional, meaning that I can rock the pieces to my office or out on the town…As much as I love summer and am excited for shorts and tank-tops and bare feet, J.Crew has totally got me lusting for Fall.
