Alligators Are Sexy Too
It’s not just snakeskin that’s in style, apparently alligators are making their way onto magazine covers too! Now, I’m not talking about alligator shoes or bags….I’m referring to the actual reptiles! First Robert Pattinson was embracing one on the cover of Vanity Fair and now a swamp dweller has made its way onto Jalouse’s cover. Of course model Camille Rowe makes her reptile friend and its swashbuckling habitat appear much sexier than Pattinson. Carrying a huge blade and embracing jungle style, I’m pretty much girl crushing over Rowe’s feminine, yet outdoorsy appearance in this “L’Huere Reptile” (translation: Primetime Reptile) shoot.
Given that I’m far from the “woodsy” type, living vicariously through my fashion editorials is about as close as I plan to get to a sweaty swamp. However, you can sign me up for an alligator- an alligator bag that is…just kidding…that little guy looks too friendly to be made into a purse or a wallet. The entire shoot does make me want to give khaki another try–a staple hue I’ve never been able to get on board with. If I get jungle fever after shopping, I’ll certainly be putting the blame on stylist Jennifer Eymčre who pulled all the looks for this shoot.
