From Famous Fashion Journalist to Archaeologist?
It’s not just Carine Roitfeld leaving a prestigious editorial post to pursue new ventures, beloved The Daily Telegraph UK writer Hilary Alexander will be uprooting from her post as fashion director at the end of June. She’ll be staying on a freelancer, but she’ll also be “digging” into new adventures as she has plans to study archaeology. Yes, you heard right–archaeology. The internationally recognized writer tweeted the following messages:
Known for her reporting and as a fashion week (er, month) staple at the shows in New York, Milan, and Paris, I’m excited to see where the always playfully dressed Alexander winds up later on. Perhaps she’ll start a blog on ancient fashions?
