Although Time Magazine‘s 100 of 2011 issue hits newsstands Friday, the list is online�today�and surprisingly (or rather not so surprisingly) Tom Ford, designer-model-director-writer-and sex god among other things was placed on the list as the only fashion related figure. Rita Wilson actress and producer writes of Ford, “Thomas Carlyle Ford. Even his given name reflects the elegance with which it would become synonymous.”

According to Time’s official site, the list is comprised of “the most�influential�people in the world…artists and activists, reformers and researchers, heads of state and captains of industry. Their ideas spark dialogue and dissent and sometimes even revolution.”

Ford was joined by others in the entertainment industry such as Blake Lively, Mia Wasikowska and Bruno Mars. View the complete list, do you think they left anyone out?
