If there are two power-house figures in popular culture today that I would love to watch battle it out, it would definitely be Oprah Winfrey and Lady Gaga. However, according to Forbes Lady Gaga has already beat Winfrey, as she came in at the number 1 slot for Forbe’s “Celebrity 100 List”. This leaves Oprah at second and baby Justin Beiber as third (yeah, I am pretty schocked as well…).

So what gave Gaga that extra “oomph” to beat out Winfrey? Apparently, it was Gaga’s huge social media presence that was the determining factor…with over 10 million followers on Twitter and over 30 million likes on Facebook, she won.
