If there is one thing I love about living in LA (and yes there are many) it has to definitely be the weather. Anyone from around here can and will tell you that we really don’t have seasons…it’s pretty much spring/summer year round.  Teen Vogue‘s latest editorial titled “California Gurls” reminds me of perfect LA style. Ensembles are bright, mid-drift baring and fun! I love that the majority of the looks are paired with a bathing suit and funky accessories pulled by Havana Laffitte. But there’s something about this editorial that I love even more…

The hair by James Pecis and the makeup by Alice Lane. The obre meets frizz and messy chic is perfect for those days at the beach. I am slightly obsessed with simplicity of the makeup. Glossy lids, heavy mascara and blushed cheeks with a lot of shine is definitely a must-try.
