Prada’s New Girls & New Campaign
If there was one brand that absolutely killed it in terms of product, trends, models and ad campaigns this season, it was hands down, Prada. From the furs, to the floppy hats and then tapping “it girl” model Arizona Muse, people literally went bananas over the collection…It seems that Muiccia Prada and her team have done it again for their Fall/Winter 2011 campaign.
Taken by Steven Miesel, the shots feature rosy-cheeked models with fur accents. I love the snakeskin boots (how very Chloé, right?) and the muted neutrals, as well as their interesting take on color blocking-patterns (a trend that was major this season). Where last season’s collection was fun, this one is definitely more feminine and chic. Why yes, I would love to tote that purse on my arm! What’s even cooler is that Prada’s ad campaigns features three girls new to the business, Kelly Mittendorf, Ondria Hardin and Antonia Wesseloh alongside the very successful Frida Gustavsson. Way to go Prada!
