Given I’m a big fan of the “Morning After” as in the handbag (not that other thing you’re thinking of), I had to share designer Rebecca Minkoff‘s Resort 2012 collection with you (remember when we interviewed her?). I love all of the pieces especially the bright high-waisted pants and the striped orange frock. A currently pregnant Minkoff (congrats!) was inspired by St. Tropez fused with the seventies for her collection.

Considering the designer’s fall 2011 collection showed off her rockin’ side; I feel these resort looks reveal a softer more feminine side of Minkoff with the use of bright colors. She proves that you can be girly with colors other than the overused pinks and purples as demonstrated by her use of orange hues and turquoise.
