Apparently Riccardo Tisci’s “Vision” Is A Pricey One…

Jul 18, 2011 By Vaneza

This seems to really be designer Riccardo Tisci‘s time, he appears to be everywhere nowadays…from the whole album cover design for Jay-Z and Kanye West‘s to his religion-themed issue of Visionaire, which we told you about a while back.

And no pun intended here…but, OH MY GOD, this 228 page issue will set you back a bit as it’s selling for $425, no, not four dollars and twenty-five cents but an actual $425. (In case you’re wondering that’s a lot of clothes or a round-trip ticket on some airlines.)

Only 3,000 copies we produced, so if you really want one you should act on it… The issue feautres some very relgiously controversial shots featuring Lara Stone, Lea T., Arizona Muse, and of course Tisci himself. Top photographers such as Mario Testino and Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin also snapped the images. In the magazine’s true form and one-of-a-kind aesthetic, perfumer Yann Vasnier created a special scent know as the “scent of religion” which Tisci has said of, “The first impression is strong and sharp and then it becomes delicate, romantic and soft.”

So a magazine and a perfume…all in one…or purchased separately? Who knows, but I think I will save myself $425 and pass on this purchase…
