Hugo (Sans Boss) Goes Futuristic
Apparently the future is now, at least that’s the feeling I’m getting from the Hugo (by Hugo Boss) spring 2012 collection show direct from Berlin Fashion Week. Using silver, creative director Eyan Allen morphed normally standard garments into major attention getting pieces. There were a sleuth of silver suites, women’s shirts, and pants all with the futuristic flair. Post shiny parade, crisp white pieces, cobalt blues, red, and lastly black hues made their way down the catwalk. Allen’s silhouettes were very forward-thinking and most of the collection has the versatility to be worn casually or dressed up for formal affairs. The practical, yet diverse pieces were a major hit (at least with me).
