After previously interviewing designer Wayne Lee, we were so excited to see her new resort collection!�Well, when it came to designing her spring 2012 looks, Lee was pregnant and before the baby came her boyfriend whisked her away to the Caribbean. Her thoughts on the destination? She said lets go “somewhere super nice that’s accommodating for a pregnant person.”�More than just accommodating, the getaway proved to be inspiring. “It was really nice to just be in that kind of environment working on resort. So that was my inspiration — sort of French Riviera, stripes and cobalt blue. And there is also a lot of white in the collection.”

Working on a resort collection while in a resort destination makes perfect sense and her pieces demonstrate her surroundings to a T. Cobalt blue shorts? Yes, please!�
