Never have I been a fan of the whole nautical look…something in my mind always seemed a little weird about the combination of red, white, and blue. Maybe it’s because those colors remind me of the American flag or fourth of july (and not that there is anything wrong with that), I would just rather wear black on black. Vogue Brasil‘s editorial titled “Vento Em Popa” which means “Downwind” in�Portuguese�features�a slew of nautical looks pulled by Karine Vilas Boas.

Some looks are so cute that I actually want to rock a sailor’s hat! I mean, how adorable does model�Kristy Kaurova�look in the shot above!? I’m totally ready to invest in some red and white striped numbers…and maybe even and anchor pendant to match!
