A huge congratulations goes out to American fashion designer and beloved Project Runway personality Michael Kors and his long-time partner Lance LePere on their upcoming nuptials. The couple were spotted registering for their marriage license on Wednesday at City Hall in Manhattan.

Kors told WWD, “Lance and I are very excited to finally be able to have the opportunity to marry in our home state after many years together,� said Kors. �We have no plans for a major party, but we will be getting married privately.�

We’re so happy the fashionable pair and other same sex couples will be able to legally celebrate their love in their residence of New York.�Sadly, the same can’t be said for couples in California just yet.
