Sorry Miss Daisy, we want to drive with Jacquelyn Jablonski. The red-lipped model hops into a vintage ride for Vogue Italia Couture and I want all of the retro glam styles she wears. In the perfectly titled editorial, “Extravagant, Sophisticated Lady” we encounter Jablonski in doll-like poses centered around a white automobile. Her stunning gowns and bold makeup take us back in time…to a period where women didn’t drive, wore romantic gowns and overpacked. While the overpacking never gets old, I’m enthralled with the set detailing all the way down to the huge phone she uses to call roadside assistance, at least that’s who I’m assuming she’d ring. Jablonksi actually reminds of a hoarder with so much stuff packed into a tiny car. I suppose this means hoarders can be glamorous too…as long as they’re outfitted in couture and photographed by�Miles Aldridge.
