The resort-ful face of Gucci,�Karmen Pedaru�turns shady for their newest ad campaign – literally. The model poses in an outdoor setting against white cement with pink flowers, while being covered by the shade of a tree. It doesn’t sound high fashion, but the team transformed the setting in luxury. Pedaru is accented with not only by fancy clothes from the luxe line’s resort collection, but also by the handsome�Lenz von Johnston, who is totally overshadowed by well…the shadows, and Pedaru’s beauty. Actually in the the shot below, where the pair is showing off the newest Gucci eyewear collection, Johnston appears to have a more androgynous look. They say “it’s all in the eyes,” but for that image– it’s all in the lips!

This shady campaign was captured by none other than another duo, photographers Mert Alas & Marcus Piggott, whose play on lighting make the ads standout when flipping through magazines.
