Andie Arthur Is A Catwalk Chameleon
We first heard of Andie Arthur when she walked for Alexander McQueen, and we’re excited to learn this fresh face is quickly picking up modeling steam. Signed by Ford Models, Arthur was immediately swept into the fast paced industry and by the looks of her runway resume, we’re positive this brunette is one to watch. Along with McQueen, she also did the spring 2012 strut for Dolce & Gabbana (above), DKNY, Emporio Armani, Just Cavalli, Phillip Lim, Erdem, Thankoon and more.
Her striking facial features give her a unique edge as she can easily play soft & feminine, but her look can be turned up for an edgier audience. This chameleon-like quality comes in handy considering the wide array of shows she has walked in.
In a recent interview she said of the modeling experience, “I was surprised to learn how much work really goes into everything. How many people it takes just to get that one shot. It all looks so easy from outside the industry, but once you’re in it, you appreciate all the hard work.” Arthur continued, ”I have never worked so hard in my life!”
Given all the hard work, we’re also stoked V‘s editorial premonition came true. The magazine included the model in their “Faces of Now” shoot which just came out. Arthur is featured alongside the likes of Daphne Groeneveld, Ruby Aldridge, and Hailey Clauson – all three girls are now big names in the industry. Surely, Arthur isn’t far behind.
We’ll be keeping our sweet eye on Andie and you can catch more of the newcomer on MyFDB and follow her on Twitter @andie_arthur.
