Style.com is definitely the go to source for runway, backstage, detail, and beauty photos. The team at Style.com has released a second issue of their tangible style guide, Style.com/Print. The theme of the issue is “Behind Closed Doors” and bringing a behind the scenes look into the concealed spaces where fashion is formed. Style.com/Print has exclusive features on designers of the moment which include:
“The Dreamer: For the first time, Lanvin’s Alber Elbaz has opened up his studio and his process in the days leading to his runway show. Writer Jo-Ann Furniss and photographer Nick Waplington go behind the scenes with Elbaz as he celebrates his tenth anniversary at the house with a standout collection and, perhaps, a new direction.
The Breakout: From casting to catwalk with Joseph Altuzarra as New York’s boy wonder plots his most mature collection yet. By Matthew Schneier; photographs by Jocelyn Bain Hogg.
The Artiste: At the Academy Awards with Marchesa’s Georgina Chapman, from the last-minute fittings in the celebrity dressing suite at Beverly Hills’ L’Ermitage to the late-night celebrations with her Oscar-winning husband, Harvey Weinstein, at his legendary party. By Matthew Lynch; photographs by Roxanne Lowit.”
