It’s no secret that Vogue‘s around the world occasionally favor certain models over others, however to dedicate an entire issue to one is an extreme rarity. The name Catherine McNeil, may not roll of your tongue as a top model stateside, but in other parts of the globe she’s a big deal. This Aussie-born beauty gained momentum when Mario Testino signed her to exclusive contracts with Vogue British and Vogue Paris early in her career. Since then McNeil has triumphed the industry from ad campaigns to runway, so it’s no wonder Vogue Australia is paying homage to their successful native with an entire September issue dedicated to the beauty. We can’t wait to get more McNeil in our database, so we’re highly anticipating the mag’s arrival!

Remember when we told you about Zoe Saldana being the new face of CK’s Envy Underwear line? Well, more of her ads have been released, along with a few behind-the-scenes photos. We’re so excited to see Zoe in magazines and billboards sporting the line. According to WWD, “The multimillion-dollar print and outdoor advertising campaign breaks mid-September, in October magazines, and she also will appear in an online video on cku.com.”

So what exactly is Zoe’s take on undergarments?

“I like when you are able to assist your body to look amazing as opposed to replacing anything. That’s exactly what Calvin Klein Underwear Envy does. It helps you, it assists you, but it will not overshadow what you can bring naturally.”

We’re all over this racy cover of L’Officiel Hommes Paris‘ June/July issue that stars model, Andrès Velencosco. The exercise inspired shoot, “I can’t get you out of my head” that follows was photographed and styled by Milan Vukmirovic (talk about multitasking). A flourishing modeling career after a whirlwind wedding when you’re Lara Stone is just another day. The model who’s MyFDB page is full of credits from Versace to Vogue recently gave insights about her style preferences to The New York Times that we just had to share.

WHAT I’M WEARING NOW: A Calvin Klein [Who she's new face of] dress from their prefall collection. I’m loving white right now because I’m feeling very tan. The shoes are Alaïa. Most of my shoes are Alaïa. My husband gave me the necklace for my birthday. I wear it everyday. It’s Margiela. He surprised me with it.

STYLE: I’m usually in jeans and a T-shirt and flats. I like quite minimalist clothing. I always feel awkward in bright color or prints, although I have been trying to wear more color, and it’s really not as bad as I thought. In the evening I like to dress more sexy. I have a few of those really skintight little Alaïa dresses that I love. It’s only recently that I started to enjoy getting all dressed up for a night out. But I still like to keep it simple. I hardly ever need more than half an hour to get ready.

ON MAKEUP: I don’t use that much. Just cream and some mascara. I always love the idea of red lips, but it doesn’t really work on me. It comes off, gets on my teeth.

CURRENT OBSESSION: Cupcakes. I love the ones from Primrose, a little bakery near my house in London.

Tom Ford selected Freja Beha Erichsen, Nicholas Hoult, and a few feathered friends for his F/W ad campaign.  We’re big fans of the brand’s past ads and we like how the company always finds a new way to grab our attention. However, it looks like a crow gets a little to close for comfort next to Erichsen in the above shot. Don’t worry, because we’re fairly sure some of the birds were added in digitally. Note, we’re not exactly sure what kind of birds are pictured, but for soem reason we went with crow. Regardless, we can’t wait to get this campaign entered in our database!

We don’t need to know Italian to admire Vogue Italia Beauty, the bi-annual supplement to Vogue Italia is full of glamorous photo shoots catered towards the beauty industry. In the latest issue a hair raising editorial aptly titled, “Love is in The Hair” caused us to stop working and stare at the luscious locks of model, Sasha Pivovarova.

Photographed by Emma Summerton, Pivovarova takes on three different looks including a fiery red, blushing blond, and a seductive grey-ish do. Hairstylist, Sam McKnight was responsible for taming her mane while makeup artist Alex Box created complimenting cosmetic looks. Bravo team!

Raquel Zimmerman dives into her best men’s inspired fashions for this “Girl Meets Boy” editorial featured in the latest issue of Vogue Paris. Zimmerman emulates rockers of the past and present while channeling masculine looks. These images shot by David Sims capture her in a manly light, yet hints of femininity can’t help but shine through. Stylist, Emmanuelle Alt had the challenging job of pulling a hodge podge of edgy pieces and combining them to create an authentic rocker vibe.
