1. SHOWstudio: Fashion Fetish video “F*ck Me” Ruth Hogben and featuring Karlie Kloss- This vampy video is another in a sequence of collaborations between Karlie Kloss and SHOWstudio. The hyper-sexual video has been making waves in the fashion world for it’s subversive content and controversial title. This Fashion Fetish video was made to compliment the new SHOWstudio exhibition “Selling Sex.” More videos on the topic are in the works but for now we have a very sexy Miss Kloss to keep us entertained.

2. Mulberry S/S 2012 Ad Campaign- Muberry’s classic summer collection was inspired by “the retro holiday experience, nostalgic seaside scenes and eclectic British summer activities.” This short and very sweet Campaign video displays the picturesque setting of Brighton Beach with Lindsey Wixson and Frida Gustavsson modeling. Digital animation has caused Andy Hillman’s ice-cream creations to melt juxtaposing this surreal happenstance with the idyllic scene.

3. Tom Ford Womenswear F/W 2012-2o13 Collection- Tom ford’s collection video is very much all about the clothes. Split screens allow the viewer to see multiple angles and details of the sleek and luxurious collection. The trendy music matches each picture with the beat and this culminates in a flickering of photos and finally finishes in the now iconic dress Gwyneth Paltrow wore to the Oscars.

4. Calvin Klein Jeans S/S 2012 Video featuring Lara Stone- Color blocking is certainly the name of the game in Calvin Klein’s Summer campaign video. A very tanned and toned bevy of models, including Lara Stone, advertises their bold and colorful jeans on a rocky outcrop. Nobody ever thought to wear jeans to play in the waves… until now.

5. Madonna “Girl Gone Wild” Video- The seemingly immortal Madonna has done it again with a ferociously fierce video for her new song “Girl Gone Wild.” Full of untamed and body conscious fashion and men in pantyhose, this video shows us why we still love the original wild material girl.

Billows of smoke appropriately served as the backdrop to a sultry, dark yet romantic collection inspired by the femme fatales of 40′s film noir for Jenny Packham F/W 2012. The British designer had a very specific woman in mind of whom the collection represented. Her persona was summed up in the words of Don McPherson’s 1986 book Leading Ladies. “She was almost always bewitchingly glamorous, slow to befriend and swift to betray, a haunting and often malevolently dangerous vision which could lure a man to his doom, or bring him to despair.” Haunting and malevolently dangerous she may be, you can’t help but fall victim to her black magic.

Some might be surprised by Packham’s venture into darkness, given the ethereal, princess-like gowns worn by the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, which have truly put Packham on the map. However, those more familiar with Packhams dynamic list of cliental will realize there’s mass appeal in all of her designs, and her aesthetic calls out to women from dark minimalist Angelina Jolie to sexy burlesque siren Dita Von Teese, who sat front row at the show. Von Teese sported a look which emphasized her role as Packham’s obvious modern-day muse in a black Jenny Packham Fall 2012 cocktail dress, paired with cat-eye shades and a red rouge.

Reviving the ’40s meant wide shoulders, cinched waists, plunging necklines and silhouettes characterized by the power of sleek. These noir style traits were displayed in form of fitted knee length cocktail dresses, halter neck jumpsuits and a variety of floor length gowns. The luxurious fabrics were predominantly silk crepe, beaded tulle, satin chiffon and soft satin, embellished seamlessly with crystal, sequins and silver studs. The mood was emphasized in the color palate which featured contrasty deep red, pale oat and naturally stark black. However, towards the latter end of the collection Packham brightened the horizons with pale pinks and baby blues. Adding to the vamp of the collection were the gorgeous retro chignon and merlot lip beauty looks that secured the old Hollywood look consummately.

While the collection settled in the past, the runway music was a juxtaposition between then and now. DJ Rene Goulet’s opening number featured Ol’ Blue Eye’s daughter Nancy Sinatra’s hit “Bang, Bang” as a dubstep remix which served as a perfect companion track to designs dripping in nostalgia. Even Von Teese commented on the dubstep tracks tweeting “Film noir glamour plus a dubstep soundtrack. Nice.” Goulet’s following song choices strayed away from dubstep and featured modern artists such as Anna Calvi, Mr. Little Jeans, and all-girl band Woo Woos whose electronic track “Fizzy Lettuce” was a friendly reminder that we were not actually in the midst of a ’40s cinema piece.

Each season, Billy Reid serves up a collection best served with a splash of bourbon, and while this stayed true for F/W 2012, the Billy Reid label took on a new identity – one that emulated European sophistication. Leaving his safe Southern homeland for the city of the lights, the collection was inspired by a recent jaunt through two iconic cities. “I spent some great time in Paris and London this past year and I’ve thoroughly enjoyed mixing that vibe into the collection.” said Reid.

Best known for his menswear, Reid had a chance to show off his immaculate tailoring with peak lapel jackets, shearling lined dress coats, three-piece suits and shawl-collar tuxedos which emanated an effortless debonair style. Fox fur, wools, cashmere and other sumptuous fabrics breathed a new air of luxury into Reid’s overall aesthetic. However, Reid’s signatures were not absent by any means, with pieces that featured familiar calvalry detail, distressed suede and perfectly-weathered leather. It was obvious that the hand-crafted sportswear had the best-dressed-men-of-fashion-week sitting front, even those slugging back their complementary long-necked beers,  wide-eyed and lovestruck as they pictured themselves leaving their Alabama terrain to stroll the seine of the north of France.

Reid’s womenswear told a similar story, one which Reid gave the simple synopsis, “Charleston girl, moves to downtown New York – then to Paris, (where she) falls in love.” Reid’s woman is head-over-heels but keeps her cool in menswear-inspired designs, with many of the assemblages topped of with chic wide-brim hats from master milliner Albert Swanepoel. Flannel belted blazers, cashmere trousers, mohair sweaters and evening cardigans were among the most wearable separates. Those who enjoy a fur flair would be taken with the sharp outwear accented with heavenly mink and fox. Reid’s venture into womenswear also included accessories such as the oversized alligator and mustang hobo, leather envelope clutch and southerly oxford heels.

Accompanying us on the journey through Reid’s new visions was sound stylist Laurent Vacher, whose music was the perfect balance between Reid’s laid back temperament and being runway appropriate. After an excerpt from Aretha Franklin’s “I Say A Little Prayer for You” sounded as an ironic introduction, Joe Henry Blood’s folky Southern vocals resonated through the room in his song, “Stars”. Complementary to the opening tracks were “Widow Wimberly” by Tony Joe White and “I’ve Got This Friend” by Barton Hollow from similar-in-style singer/songwriters. Closing the show was musician of the decade Jack White whose brand new track, “Love Interruption” exhibited beautifully sung angst, ending the show ever-so-coolly.

To sum up the looks, there’s a shirt with an abstract illustration of Rihanna’s face, two pair of jeans (one dark, one light), a rockin’ motorcycle jacket, and of course, a logo tee. Oh and let’s not forget the sexy little lace number, a navy blue bra and panty set that I’m sure ladies would like to have in their Christmas stocking. The pieces, which were made public today, will be in stores in time for holiday shoppers.

The question is, given Emporior Armani’s high price points, will Rihanna fans and customers shell out big bucks for the capsule collection? Or perhaps, they’ll be smart and wait until after Christmas to purchase the goods, which will most likely end up on sale? Would you purchase any of the items below?

The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show is like a lingerie party on steroids. It’s laid out like a typical fashion show, but goes wild with a glittered catwalk, models wearing next to nothing, and extreme winged creations. Celebrities, rock stars, editors, and bloggers all flock to the fantasy world VS creates. This year proved to be even more over the top than ever!

Even though the show doesn’t air until November 29th, we found ourselves entranced by all the dramatic and colorful lingerie. For a fashion show, there’s not much clothing, but there’s a TON of creativity and model crushes. We’re so proud of darling Karlie Kloss (bottom right), who walked in her first show. Meanwhile, Miranda Kerr (bottom left) is no stranger to the glitz and was given the coveted position of sporting a $2.5 million bra. Yowza! The sexy Doutzen Kroes wow’d the crowd after giving birth just a mere nine months ago. Supermodel Alessandra Ambrosio (top) of course show’d all the girls how its done! And everyone let out an “aww” when singer Adam Levine (below) escorted his real life love, Anne Vyalitsyna down the catwalk as he sang. He wasn’t the only one behind the mic, Nicki Minaj, Kanye West (with a surprise appearance by Jay-Z) all had their turn. Of course, in true Victoria’s Secret fashion it was the models who came out on top and celebrated with a confetti-filled finale on the catwalk.

The lingerie themes for this year’s show included superhero styled designs, dramatic dark pieces, and under the sea, and ended with a disco PINK party! Experience the fun before the air date by browsing our image gallery below.

Versace for H&M is like the coolest party you weren’t invited to. It’s okay, neither were we; but we did scour the internet to find awesome shots of last night’s fashion fete. Celebrities including Jessica Alba, Chace Crawford, Uma Thurman, Blake Lively, Selma Blair (where has she been?), Zachary Quinto, Coco Rocha, Mark Ronson (in pink), and more were on hand to watch the runway presentation. Along with these big names Prince and Nicki Minaj were both front row, this turned out to be foreshadowing for events later in the evening when each performer took the stage and wow’d the crowd with their lyrical skills. The fashion for the evening was clearly Versace, Versace, and more Versace (all for H&M, of course).

Live vicariously along with us with the red carpet video below. We personally love any opportunity to see Donatella speak, she’s like a plastic surgery fascinating creature of the night and we love when she comes out to play.

First Vogue Paris made over their hit song “Girls on Film”, then L’Uomo Vogue made over Duran Duran, and finally Paper put the guys on their cover in anticipation of the band’s new album. But, the fashion industry has been stir crazy of the release of their new video “Girl Panic” which finally hit the internet today. Given the band was one of the first to use models in their music video, it’s only natural for them to cast supermodels for their rock return.

The infamous Naomi Campbell morphed into Duran Duran frontman Simon Le Bon for “Girl Panic!” She’s not the only one putting on an acting facade for the shoot, Eva Herzigova played Nick Rhodes, Helena Christensen partied like Roger Taylor, and Cindy Crawford sexed up John Taylor. And of course Yasmin Le Bon was there for all the fun, she’s the model who married the lead singer.

The lengthy video (9 minutes), features the models in seriously sexy bondage gear doing mock interviews as the band members and partying like rockstars in a London hotel suite. The clothes (what little clothing there is) is unbelievable! Given the cameos by Dolce & Gabbana, I’m guessing many of their pieces made it into the video. Everything culminates with a performance by the models in their full Duran Duran character along with a Harper’s Bazaar photo shoot, where D&G come into play.

I know 9 minutes is a long time, but this epic shoot is worth it.

For a good laugh you can jive along with Baptiste below, his scores are also listed. Not bad, but not good. Hopefully he’ll continue to be on the show, so we can keep laughing enjoying his new dancing career.

Since today is Halloween everyone may not be exactly how they seem around town, but we love how people surpise with their awesome costumes and talents. In this case Josh Beech- along with being a modeling sensation- also has some major musical ability. Beech was the face of Galliano this past summer along with posing for Moschino and Hudson Jeans, where he modeled alongside rock offspring, Georgia May Jagger. We recently spoke to Josh about his modeling career and his band, Josh Beech and The Johns.

Music is clearly your first passion, but how did you end up modeling and what has made you continue working in the fashion world?
Yes music is definatley my passion, but I do really enjoy working in the fashion world as well. Fashion allows me to travel the world, a lot of the time to destinations music would not take me to plus I meet lots of interesting, rad people that I would probably have never met if I hadn’t worked in that industry.

As a singer you’re used to being on stage, but what are your nerves like when you get in front of the camera?
I think I am more comfortable when I have my guitar in my hands or my band behind me, but being in front of a camera is something I am definitely getting used to. I wouldnt say I get nervous; it just takes me a little bit longer to be myself, you know?

Any exciting news you can share about your current solo music projects and your band Josh Beech and The Johns?
Lots of news… We are currently finishing our european tour, which so far has been a huge success. I am actually doing this interview in the back of our tour van. You can look forward to hearing our debut album at the begining of next year and a new single and music video before Christmas. All updates apprear on our website, joshbeechmusic.com. We hope to tour the USA in March next year.

Is it challenging to balance your time between modeling and music?
I think it sometimes can be a challenge for my agency and band manager as sometimes work and music can get double booked. My agencies are so patient with me though, so that makes my life super easy. They are all really behind my music and are very supportive, if they are reading this: THANK YOU!

What’s your personal style like? Do you dress any differently for performances?
Nope for my performance I dress as ME. We are all from a punk background so we wear alot of vests/band T’s and jeans. You will occasionally see us in suits for big headline shows just because it’s fun!

Seems like you probably travel quite a bit, we’d love to know what’s on your playlist?
I travel all the time, I fly at least once or twice a week in peak times. My playlist is ptretty mixed there is everything from Thrice, Jonny Cash, Local Natives, The Chariot, Lower Than Atlantis, The Beatles, John Mayer, Poison The Well, Deftones, and Paul Simon to name a few.

Lastly, what advice do you have for aspiring models out there?
Just be yourself, whatever you think is cool, is cool!

Sorry daddy Mick, we prefer the (modeling) moves of your daughter Georgia May. The sinfully seductive blond has a rock & roll attitude, yet remains refined around the edges thanks to mama Jerry Hall. Georgia May Jagger has become one of our modeling favorites in the office and her career is becoming as famous as her father’s on stage antics, which is why we’re celebrating her this Model Monday.

Her Hudson Jeans campaigns continue to remain a highlight, while her red-orange blond Vogue British cover stands out in our minds just as much. High fashion is no stranger to rock’s offspring either, as she’s posed for Versace and is pals with Karl Lagerfeld too. Jagger walked in a previous cruise collection show and starred in Chanel’s resort 2011 ad campaign opposite Baptiste Giabiconi. We’re also obsessed with her current ads for BoBô, where she’s stylin above water.

And for more proof that she’s overshadowing her father in a previous interview the model said, “Well, actually he’s not as cool as you’d think he’d be. He’s fun but everyone thinks he would be very lenient and just want to party all the time but, well, he’s just Dad. He worries like most dads do.”

So there you have it proud papa Mick is just  regular ‘ol dad, while his offspring are creating waves of their own. Luckily, his new music endeavor SuperHeavy will reawaken the onstage moves that inspired the current hit song below.
