For those of you that follow @MyFDB on Twitter, you may recall awhile back when us fashion folk were all a flutter when news of Joe Zee walking around in a Chanel fur suit hit the Twittersphere. The buzz was so huge that Elle.com released a video of Joe enjoying an especially warm NY day decked out in furry Chanel duds. Be forewarned, that’s not an eskimo, a yeti, or a zoo animal you’re watching, it’s everyone’s favorite Creative Director, Joe Zee. Enjoy!

Remember when we told you about Zoe Saldana being the new face of CK’s Envy Underwear line? Well, more of her ads have been released, along with a few behind-the-scenes photos. We’re so excited to see Zoe in magazines and billboards sporting the line. According to WWD, “The multimillion-dollar print and outdoor advertising campaign breaks mid-September, in October magazines, and she also will appear in an online video on cku.com.”

So what exactly is Zoe’s take on undergarments?

“I like when you are able to assist your body to look amazing as opposed to replacing anything. That’s exactly what Calvin Klein Underwear Envy does. It helps you, it assists you, but it will not overshadow what you can bring naturally.”

No you’re not dreaming, the following trippy daydream-like video was created by artist Kenneth Anger for Missoni‘s A/W 2010 — 2011 ad campaign. The mystical video echoes an acid trip mixed with high fashion, while still presenting a true artistic vision. Anger, known for films, Scorpio Rising (1964) and Fireworks (1947), was hired to shoot the Missoni family modeling its fall collection.

By the looks of the video, we can’t wait to see what kind of print ads Missoni will be putting out.

We’re all over this racy cover of L’Officiel Hommes Paris‘ June/July issue that stars model, Andrès Velencosco. The exercise inspired shoot, “I can’t get you out of my head” that follows was photographed and styled by Milan Vukmirovic (talk about multitasking). We’re huge fans of Karlie Kloss in the office as is Vogue; the mag used the young supermodel in an incredible blast-from-the-past editorial aptly titled, “Classic Revival” for their August issue. With photography by Raymond Meier and makeup from Lisa Houghton, Kloss makes us want to go back in time when everyone always presented themselves in a chic manner. We’re huge fan’s of Dior and John Galliano, so we were floored when we saw this huge couture editorial in Crash mag. Photographer, Sam Samore was able to capture quick snaps backstage at one of the brand’s couture shows. We love how he features the fanciful hair and makeup of the models. These haute looks were created by renowned makeup artist, Pat McGrath and hair stylist, Orlando Pita.

While many of us are enjoying the lazy days of summer, they’ll soon be eclipsed by back-to-school madness. Although all of us at MyFDB  are too old for this, we recall the anticipation, excitement, and dread that comes along with a fresh school year. So, of course we had to feature this Teen Vogue editorial, “School House Rock,” from their August issue. We enjoy the kitschy teenage playfulness and fashion captured by photographer, Ben Weller. It was announced today at Berlin Fashion Week that actress Zoe Saldana is going to be the new face of Calvin Klein‘s fall 2010 underwear ads. We can’t wait until fall to get these images in our database. Above is one look from the the CK Envy campaign; the sexy shoot was photographed Mikael Jansson and styled by Karl Templer.

“We are excited to have Zoe Saldana as the face of Calvin Klein Underwear, and Calvin Klein Envy, our new product launch,” said Bob Mazzoli, Chief Creative Officer of Calvin Klein Underwear. “Zoe brings the campaign to life, and her universal appeal will enable us to continue to expand our dialogue with our consumers worldwide.”
