Just because a woman is topless doesn’t mean she has to illicit some trashy pornographic pose. Photographer duo Mert Alas & Marcus Piggott tastefully capture Anja Rubik and Sasha Pivovarova in the buff for this dangerously sexy and stylish editorial in Vogue Paris called, “Fatale“. The shoot is a mix of black & white images and high contrast colored photography. The girls aren’t naked the entire time either, but there is a sizable amount of boob-age, it is Vogue Paris after all, where nudity is nothing to flinch at. Maybe one day Vogue US will catch up to the artistic ways of their European offspring.

Why so glum Anja Rubik? Is it because this shoot was taken in black and white? Or is it because you’re not with your gorgeous model turned hubby of yours? You look so tired and depressed. Captured by Hedi Slimane, this editorial reminds me of one of those days where it’s gloomy outside and all you want to do is sulk around the house. Of course, in the fashion world and this V magazine editorial, Anja mopes around in Balmain, Tom Ford and jewels by David Yurman and Harry Winston, I don’t feel all that bad for her…just saying.

Former Model Monday alums Anja Rubik and Sasha Knezevic tied the knot this weekend in an intimate ceremony in Mallorca, Spain. Talk about a beautiful couple and beautiful location. But, Anja’s dress? Hmm…now that just may be another (not so romantic) story…

The model wore a custom made silk Pucci dress designed by Peter Dundas, which focused on Anja’s assets…err rather, her long legs. The dress was short in the front and included a long train in the back along with some sort of choker tie like necklace-contraption thing? Interesting?

What did you think of Anja’s dress? Personally I was more a fan of Lily Aldridge‘s classic Vera Wang gown.

It’s springtime, which means love is in the air…and in full effect. Although real-life couple Anja Rubik and Sasha Knezevic got engaged last year, their passion is still growing. They recently stopped traffic to makeout, er rather “reenact” their ad campaign for DKNY’s latest fragrance… And so we present to you Anja’s other half, the gorgeous Sasha Knezevic as our  Model Monday feature!!!

Anja Rubik and her longtime boyfriend, Sasha Knezevic got engaged just before Christmas last year in Vienna…Can you say adorable? The two have also appeared in several ad campaigns together for brands such as Gap and Jones New York. Apparently before he made his way into the modeling world, Sasha used to play professional basketball in Varese, Italy. Since then, Sasha has been featured in ads for DNKY Men and Perry Ellis among various runways and editorials.

Anja Rubik pretty much has it all, gorgeous looks, a super hot fiance (Sasha Knezevic), and a successful modeling career. But it seems like she’s getting things twisted in her latest shoot for Vogue Paris. I mean “twisted” as in her luscious locks; the model’s hair is in a tightly wound updo created by hair stylist, Ward Stegerhoek. For this white clad shoot all of the garments Rubik is rockin’ are very billowy and free-flowing making her hair the opposite of her attire.

Now lets move onto the clothes because I love the white garments pulled for the shoot. I know many of them are man repelling and not exactly practical for everyday wear, but I don’t care–I want them allll! I mean, isn’t a white body suit paired with white see through pants totally practical for spring?

The party hasn’t stopped for Anja Rubik, Natasha Poly, and Isabeli Fontana thanks to photographers Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin. First they were lensed by the duo for Vogue Paris‘ October issue and now the camera wielding pair has just released video footage of the shoot a la Duran Duran’s Girls On Film. The song blasts in the background while Rubik, Poly, and Fontana strike poses and hang out during the shoot. To me, this video seems like an appropriate remake of the original “Girls On Film” music video–which I immediately Googled after watching the Vogue version. All I can say is out with the old and in with the new, because the models make for a triple-threat that Duran Duran can’t compete with!

With spring just around the corner, it’s uber-refreshing when a brand decides to shy away from the traditional ad campaign layout of just models looking hot and in turn opt for a more artistic approach. Leave it to Karl Lagerfeld, who steps behind the lens, for Fendi to create portrait-like art complete with brush stroked backgrounds for their latest campaign.

The statuesque Anja Rubik is rocking a honeysuckle frock, while being joined by singer and model, Baptiste Giabiconi in the image above. Meanwhile, Rubik goes solo in blue for the brand’s other ads. I’m pretty much in love with the painted backdrop of the campaign and adore the bright hues for spring!

Not sure what to do with your pool toys now that it’s winter? Well…I just learned from i-D magazine that there’s no need to put them into storage. The inflatable objects are the perfect fashion accessory…yes, I’m being completely serious. Anja Rubik show us that pool toys – including inflatable giraffes- have a home in fashion! This editorial titled, “Your Future Hasn’t Been Written Yet, No One’s Has…” highlights Anja paling around with her new inflatable friends. She even turns on her spidey senses for the haute shot below.

Both leading ladies star as faces of the brand’s F/W 2010 ad campaign. Photographed by Mario Sorrenti, Johansson rocks darker hues and a luxe trench throughout the shoot. Meanwhile, model counterpart Rubik sports a long red-orange autumn dress. The ads make us want to go shopping for some Mangos of our own.
