Ever since Sarah Burton has taken the reigns as creative director at Alexander McQueen after the designer‘s passing, the high fashion house has had new life breathed into it. Their latest ad campaign follows in the footsteps of McQueen, but also carries some new earth shaking appeal. The image above might make you think Raquel Zimmermann has superpowers or is an angel based on the way light glows around her. Photographed by David Sims, these images make you wonder if there’s some revolutionary event in the works…

A few weeks ago we showed you an image of the latest Prada fall/winter ads shot by David Sims (see above if you missed it)… Well now, we present to you a behind-the-scenes video in which actor (turned model?) Tobey Maguire gets really serious for the brand. Is it just me or does he look a little girly? And also, lets talk about how the beginning of the video focuses on his hands (around the 5 second mark)…Hmm…”spidey sense” anyone? Who cares, we’ll take Toby in turtlenecks over spandex any day. Gun-slinging, western-wearing bad girl Isabeli Fontana doesn’t look like she’s going to the big house anytime soon. The model is armed and dangerous in this Vogue Paris editorial, simply titled “WANTED,” and shot by photographer David Sims. Obviously Fontana means business when it comes to running from the law and she’ll pistol whip anyone who gets in her way…no joke, her gun’s still smokin’ in the shot above.

It’s not surprising that Emmanuelle Alt styled this shoot as part of her taking the reigns at Vogue Paris as editor-in-chief. Now, I’ve never been a fan of western gear, but thanks to Alt, Fontana makes it all look gooodd. I’m actually tempted to saddle up and get some duds for the wild wild west myself. I think almost everyone can at least pull off a belt with flair & black cowboy hat and this shoot leaves me craving both.

Raquel Zimmerman dives into men’s inspired fashions for this “Girl Meets Boy” editorial featured in the latest issue of Vogue Paris. Zimmerman emulates rockers of the past and present while channeling masculine looks.

These images, shot by David Sims, capture her in a manly light, yet hints of femininity can’t help but shine through. Stylist, Emmanuelle Alt had the challenging job of pulling a hodge podge of edgy pieces and combining them to create an authentic rocker vibe.
