Ever since Sarah Burton has taken the reigns as creative director at Alexander McQueen after the designer‘s passing, the high fashion house has had new life breathed into it. Their latest ad campaign follows in the footsteps of McQueen, but also carries some new earth shaking appeal. The image above might make you think Raquel Zimmermann has superpowers or is an angel based on the way light glows around her. Photographed by David Sims, these images make you wonder if there’s some revolutionary event in the works…

The campaign for Fall/Winter is less fruity and more formal. The images feature (a not so confused) Natalia Vodianova, who models for Stella McCartney regularly. The ads were taken by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott.

Designer crushes Lazaro Hernandez and Jack McCollough of Proenza Schouler totally won our hearts over when they were keynote speakers at the IFB conference and they keep making us fall in love with them more and more. Their latest ads for fall also have us wanting their entire collection! Model Zuzanna Bijoch was shot by photographer Willy Vanderperre in New York…and although she has quite the serious (and odd) face, the clothes can’t help but make me smile.

A very talented group of individuals just recently came together to work on the beautiful ad campaign for Mulberry’s 2011 fall/winter collection. Shot by Tim Walker, the ads feature models Julia Saner and Tatiana Cotliar in amazing suits in nuetral and emerald shades. The accompanyting video is trippy yet cool as Miike Snow blares from the speakers. Is it just me or does the who campaign remind you of “Fantastic Mr. Fox”? How awesome do you think being set designer Shona Heath was on this one?

Oh Muiccia Prada, the designer has literally raised the bar for fashion on so many levels as of late. Prada’s current collection has become one of the most coveted of this season and it appears as if the brand’s next campaign for fall/winter is also headed that way, but Muiccia and her creative team didn’t stop there…

They tapped up and coming actress and one of Hollywood’s favorites, Hailee Steinfeld for Miu Miu’s fall/winter ads. Shot by Bruce Weber, the ads feature the  fourteen year old Oscar nominated actress with very little makeup and hair pulled back, really focusing on the silhouette of the clothes (and shoes…oh, the shoes!).  According to WWD, Prada wanted a “film noir” like mood…and the result? Haliee looking seriously chic and mature for her age but not in a way that is too overbearingly obvious. Hailee will follow the footsteps of other younger actresses such as Camille Belle, Lindsay Lohan and Kirsten Dunst and who have all posed for the brand.

Taken by Steven Miesel, the shots feature rosy-cheeked models with fur accents. I love the snakeskin boots (how very Chloé, right?) and the muted neutrals, as well as their interesting take on color blocking-patterns (a trend that was major this season). Where last season’s collection was fun, this one is definitely more feminine and chic. Why yes, I would love to tote that purse on my arm! What’s even cooler is that Prada’s ad campaigns features three girls new to the business, Kelly Mittendorf, Ondria Hardin and Antonia Wesseloh alongside the very successful Frida Gustavsson. Way to go Prada!
