If you’re not familiar FNO, it’s short for Fashion’s Night Out, which is a global initiative created by industry power players to celebrate fashion, restore consumer confidence, and boost the industry’s economy. Landing on September 10, 2010, FNO serves as a precursor to New York Fashion Week. This year’s FNO is going to be bigger than ever with the largest public fashion show in NYC history taking place a few days prior to the shopping extravaganza.
Vogue‘s Anna Wintour, who helped create FNO said, “This show will focus on the key trends we’ve identified for fall so that shoppers will have plenty of inspiration to join the fun during Fashion’s Night Out.”
This stylish fête will have seating for nearly 1,500 guests and make use of over 200 top models such as Raquel Zimmerman, Karlie Kloss, Daria Werbowy, and more. Tickets for the September 7th show will be going on sale over summer through the Lincoln Center box office, and a portion of the proceeds will benefit the New York City AIDS Fund.
If you’re starving for a good seat, then we suggest getting on the official FNO mailing list.

They say when you fall down, you have to get back up again. Well, Karlie Kloss falling all over the January 2010 Vogue Italia cover, shot by Stephen Meisel, launched her into fashion fame. Having conquered the runway by working up to thirty shows a season, Kloss and Meisel made editorial history with the cover.
Well, what has Karlie been up to since the big cover? Besides jet setting across the globe for fashion weeks, she graced the cover of Vogue China, starred in a few Vogue America editorials, and is the face of Hermes, Oscar de la Renta, Dior, Sonia Rykiel for H&M in their recent advertisments. Oh and she’ll also be on the cover of W Korea’s 5th Anniversary issue — not too shabby for a girl that never thought she’d become one of the most saught after models in the world. We’ll be keeping our eyes on Karlie Kloss and let you know when more of her stunning editorials hit our database.
