Lea T. has the modeling career that women (and men) dream of. Now the transgendered model, who has been making major waves in the industry, recently bared almost everything for her first swim campaign in Brazil for the brand Blue Man. Shot by Terry Richardson, we see Lea T. and her amazing body frolicking on the white sandy beach with a sleuth of shirtless man at her beckoning. I wonder how much of the beach background will be photoshopped out…note the gymnastics action happening behind Lea in the top image.

These behind-the-scenes shots of the shoot were recently leaked online and what got my attention (more than Lea’s body), is that hipster king Terry Richardson is wearing dark denim, plaid, and converse in the blistering Brazilian heat. He’s staying true to his basic fashions, but must’ve gotten a little warm because he’s also shot in a black tee which he had on under the plaid…because that’s practical for the beach?

The photog also captured two male models locking lips for the swim campaign. I can’t wait for the shots to be releases and I’m sure they’ll receive tons of attention for their racy nature.

Riccardo Tisci, head designer for Givenchy and current front runner on the Dior show, is adding editor to his growing list of talents. Tisci has taken on this new role and literally turned it Holy for print fashion publication Visionaire’s sixtieth issue. The designer’s rich Catholic heritage plays an important role in his everyday life and he carried that on to his contribution to the magazine. In a recent interview it was reported that “before he presents each collection, he prays, he says, and puts salt in the four corners of the space in question “to avoid negative energy. I’m superstitious, that is very much part of religion.”

It was actually Visionarie‘s founders who decided upon the religious theme for Visionaire Sixy, but it was Tisci who brought it to life. Tisci had a clear vision in mind for the issue’s editorials and he wanted to stay away from labels as to not mix his creative position at Givenchy with his editorial role with Visionaire. He also made an effort to put artists together artists together who wouldn’t necessarily work alongside each other.

Tisci said of the shoots and their religious influence, “The contributors could use vintage clothing, they could use a single piece of fabric, they could do what they wanted. And there are a lot of nudes. In religious painting and sculpture there are a lot of nudes, too – Christ is portrayed nude, angels are portrayed nude. We were all born naked.”

When the issue debuts fans will see imagery reflecting high fashion and religious sentiments. “Christina Ricci [by Daniele & Iango] is shown as the classic Spanish Madonna, with beautiful flowers in her hair and covered with a veil…[and] Kate Moss as an angel.” explained Tisci. Enjoy a sneak peek of a few more shots:

Remember when we told you about androgyny being the new awesome? Well we aren’t the only ones intrigued by androgynous models in fashion. LOVE magazine’s next issue features androgyny to the fullest with two different provocative covers. The first stars Kate Moss getting tongue tied with transgender model, Lea T. The second cover (which has yet to circulate the web), highlights Justin Bieber (yes, seriously) shot by Terry Richardson. I really can’t wait to see how Richardson shoots “The Biebs” and his haircut.

We absolutely love Riccardo Tisci and the risks he has recently taken in regards to the casting of his models for Givenchy. This past season, he cast Lea T., a transsexual which created buzz and attention around the brand. Now, according to WWD, Tisci has chosen to push the model envelope even further with the casting of newcomer albino model, Stephen Thompson for the next Spring-Summer campaign. The black and white images were shot by photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, and feature the handsome Thompson with Givenchy regulars like Daphne Groenevald, Iris Strubegger and Mariacarla Boscono. The ads are set to debut in the January issue of L’Uomo Vogue and then transition into American publications in the early Spring. So what does Tisci have to say about the ad and his decision? He recently explained that he’s long admired albino people, reflected in the pale flesh tones that are recurrent in his fashions. “They’re very near my world,” he stated.
