Fur-ocious coats from Kors

Even though summer is just around the corner, images of the the Michael Kors Fur Collection just hit WWD, and to say the least they are fur-ocious! We know many fashionistas are against fur, but the market for pelts still exists. Given the industry’s trickle down factor, we’re guessing there will be looks inspired by Kors’ designs next winter. While fur remains taboo in fashion, it doesn’t come cheap; be prepared to shell out around $15k for one of these haute skins.

Last night’s Met Gala raised a record $9 million for the Costume Institute. The fashion elite came out in support of the talented designers, also many of these luxe gowns were one-of-a-kind garments designed specially for the event. Who wore what you ask?
