Lately, plastic surgery has become a trend on the rise and I’m not just talking about the basic implants or brow lifts, people going under the knife are getting extremely creative. Hello, remember our blog post about “toe-besity,” it’s just weird. Now, in the latest issue of Vogue Paris the editorial titled, “La Pantherose” features model Crystal Renn going under a knife, but fictionally in front of Tom Ford‘s lens.

I love what fashion editor, Carine Roitfeld did with the entire editorial and how exactly did makeup artist, Orlando Pita get Renn’s lips to look like that!? Although, the images are sensual and glamorous, they are also sad, eerie, and definitely creepy. But Renn, oddly enough, seems to be in her element of “pushing the envelope” as a model…remember her last editorial with Terry Richardson?

Since video campaigns are all the rage in fashion these days, Alexander Wang pulled out the big guns for the creation of his viral ad starring Abbey Lee Kershaw. “We’re always striving to communicate the frame of mind behind the collection, whether it’s through our show or imagery, but this season we got to delve much deeper,” Wang told Style.com. “And with the help of an incredibly gifted team—Abbey, Craig, Fabien, and Karl—my inspiration for Fall ‘10 unfolds in a raw and visually arresting dreamscape.”

Bravo to the amazing team (and the powerful fan) who worked to make this project a reality!

We’re huge fan’s of Dior and John Galliano, so we were floored when we saw this huge couture editorial in Crash mag. Photographer, Sam Samore was able to capture quick snaps backstage at one of the brand’s couture shows. We love how he features the fanciful hair and makeup of the models. These haute looks were created by renowned makeup artist, Pat McGrath and hair stylist, Orlando Pita.
