As far as ad campaigns go we love a nice eye-shot dose of sexy bedroom heels. Well, at least we realized we did after seeing Jimmy Choo’s F/W campaign featuring a well-heeled Raquel Zimmermann alongside gentleman caller Ben Hill. Laying seductively on satin bed set, all we can see are the Flora Boots she’s rockin’. If that shot isn’t hot enough we also see Zimmermann on her knees for Hill in a sheer lace number with a black bra & panties underneath. What this shot is implying is up to you and your imagination…

All of the tantalizing images were captured by photographer Steven Meisel, while stylist Charlotte Pilcher takes responsibility for the hot attire. As for the perfect bedroom hair? We can thank hair stylist Guido Palau for that. Of course, wherever we find Palau’s work, Pat McGrath‘s makeup artistry is right around the corner. If you can manage to peel your eyes away from the Choos, you’ll realize the brand also makes handbags, which are strategically placed in many of their ad campaign shots.

Time to add a few more items to the “currently coveted fashions will someone please buy them for me?” wish list!

Officer Louis Vuitton’s New Ad Campaign

Six models who are strikingly gorgeous with names that are utterly tongue twisting were cast for Louis Vuitton’s F/W ad campaign. Enter the lovely Zuzanna Bijoch, Model Monday alumn Daphne Groeneveld, Gertrud Hegelund, Nyasha Matonhodze, Anaïs Pouliot and Fei Fei Sun. These ladies put on their officer caps and and cradled a few adorable pups for the campaign which was shot by Steven Meisel. Given Louis Vuitton’s show had a hotel meets call girl theme, some of the more leggy shots are just what we were expecting from the luxe label.

I’d Rather Go Naked AND Wear Fur

Yes, I know PETA will be rolling in their grave when they see this Vogue Italia editorial featuring models not only going naked, but also donning some fur-ocious pelts. Given PETA coined the phrase, “I’d rather go naked than wear fur,” I don’t think they’ll be too excited to see skinny pale models going naked AND wearing fur.

Well, too bad PETA, because I love this shoot from fashion dream team Steven Meisel (photographer), Karl Templer (stylist), and Pat McGrath (makeup artist). Titled, “Venus in Furs” readers see tangled bodies intertwined with fanciful furs and long-haired models. I adore the rawness of the shoot and the natural makeup from looks from McGrath are complimented with the fashions. Fur? Thigh-high boots? and Leather? Yes, please!

Calvin Klein’s Structured Simplicity

Calvin Klein Women’s Creative Director, Francisco Costa brought forth a strong collection highlighting the simplicity of structured garments. Looking beyond the black and white fabric reveals strategic hems, fitting, and all around incredible design. In an industry of embellishment, bold hues, and prints we always love the classic minimalism presented by Costa.

Also, in case you missed her, model Lara Stone – the face of CK denim – rocked the runway for the brand. All the models dawned basic makeup looks created by Pat McGrath, while their locks were pulled back into a ponytail.

Some of the noteworthys in attendance included Katie Holmes, Anna Wintour, Grace Coddington, Julianne Moore, and Rachel Zoe.

In Haute Pursuit Of Christian Dior Couture

We’re huge fan’s of Dior and John Galliano, so we were floored when we saw this huge couture editorial in Crash mag. Photographer, Sam Samore was able to capture quick snaps backstage at one of the brand’s couture shows. We love how he features the fanciful hair and makeup of the models. These haute looks were created by renowned makeup artist, Pat McGrath and hair stylist, Orlando Pita.
