Do you have any exciting projects or collaborations in the works?
At the moment I am working on developing my own brand and style and have been shooting various fashion editorials and advertising. There are a few big projects planned for the summer with a couple of the magazines I shoot for, which will involve taking the streetstyle element of my work to a greater number of locations.

How did you get your start in photography and what prompted you to launch a blog?
I studied photography at Nottingham Trent University and after graduating I worked as an assistant to various fashion photographers for a number of years. Whilst doing this I was given the opportunity to shoot for Grazia magazine and this soon became a regular commission. The blog was created through the abundance of pictures I would shoot that didn’t always make the final edit, but that I felt I wanted to give some life to. At first nobody really knew about it, but after a while it just grew and grew in popularity.

As a photographer, whats been your most humbling experience during fashion week?
I was particularly excited to photograph Joan Collins a couple of seasons back. I adore those true iconic stars who seem like they can hold an entire rooms attention with their personality and style.

What have been a few of your most memorable candid street style shots and why?
I personally love so much of what I recently took at Paris Fashion Week. It was one of the first times I’ve experienced such beautiful Spring light at a time when you have so many stylish and beautiful people passing by. Every single photo seemed so romantic. I tend to have a short attention span to my pictures and I am always trying to capture something different for that reason. I would say one of my favourites recently is perhaps of Colinne Michaelis, Fan Bing Bing or Vika Gazinskaya because of the beautiful light and colour.

Lastly, what advice do you have for aspiring fashion industry hopefuls?
Work hard at it. Blogging makes it seem like its easy to be a success nowadays, but I personally feel if you want to truly be successful then the blog is a tool to aide you there, but it won’t give you a career by itself. The vast majority of the fashion industry have worked hard to get where they are and it takes sacrifices. But if it is truly what you want to do for a career, then you need to live and breath it and you need to always be planning your next move.
