Forget “Oh! Susanna,” because we’re singing “Oh! Zuzana” since Zuzanna Bijoch has been one of our runway favorites the past few seasons and we can’t believe we haven’t done a Model Monday feature on her sooner. Hailing from Poland and hitting the modeling world hard, we’ve seen this brunette beauty everywhere from walking for Alexander McQueen to posing for Proenza. Ad campaigns are all A-list for her too; Bijoch turned naughty for Louis Vuitton and you probably saw her dotting a hat for Prada.

Her “shocking” beauty is currently being put to good use as the face of Yves Saint Laurent Beauty’s Shocking mascara. Bijoch’s big eyes were captured by Terry Richardson for this campaign and in the the past she’s also worked with photographers David Sims, Steven Meisel, and Serge Leblon.

One of our favorite editorials with her is from Dazed & Confused, where she poses alongside Juju Ivanyuk for some high fashion meets wild makeup shots for an editorial entitled, “Time is Money.”

And so I present to our Model Monday, whose name is one for the books: Ymre Stiekema.

Ymre was born in 1992 in The Netherlands and was the face of multiple Prada campaigns during 2008 and 2009. Since then, she has started to focus on more editorial work…Does she look familar? Maybe it’s because we recently wrote about her. Known for her jawline and perfect model mole above her lip, regardless of how you say her name…she is definitely one to watch!

Prada mink stoles, bright prints, and designer gold cuffs are all part of my dream high fashion wardrobe. Well, I’m not alone in this dream… It looks like stylist Darcy Backlar shares my taste in clothing, as every look in this “Divine” editorial in Muse magazine has me craving a shopping spree. The gorgeous Lily Donaldson models each outfit with head turning pizzaz. Wearing an all white fitted suit accompanied by a bright stole (sans anything underneath), I love the stark contrast between the stole and suit.

I imagine photographer Matt Irwin had a blast on this shoot, because the clothes and model are equally exciting. And how awesome is that fringed skirt below? Ahh…I want it all!

A few weeks ago we showed you an image of the latest Prada fall/winter ads shot by David Sims (see above if you missed it)… Well now, we present to you a behind-the-scenes video in which actor (turned model?) Tobey Maguire gets really serious for the brand. Is it just me or does he look a little girly? And also, lets talk about how the beginning of the video focuses on his hands (around the 5 second mark)…Hmm…”spidey sense” anyone? Who cares, we’ll take Toby in turtlenecks over spandex any day. Oh Muiccia Prada, the designer has literally raised the bar for fashion on so many levels as of late. Prada’s current collection has become one of the most coveted of this season and it appears as if the brand’s next campaign for fall/winter is also headed that way, but Muiccia and her creative team didn’t stop there…

They tapped up and coming actress and one of Hollywood’s favorites, Hailee Steinfeld for Miu Miu’s fall/winter ads. Shot by Bruce Weber, the ads feature the  fourteen year old Oscar nominated actress with very little makeup and hair pulled back, really focusing on the silhouette of the clothes (and shoes…oh, the shoes!).  According to WWD, Prada wanted a “film noir” like mood…and the result? Haliee looking seriously chic and mature for her age but not in a way that is too overbearingly obvious. Hailee will follow the footsteps of other younger actresses such as Camille Belle, Lindsay Lohan and Kirsten Dunst and who have all posed for the brand.

Actually it’s more than a crush…the designer is literally a “Miuccia maniac” as Industrie magazine so lovingly puts it. So, what happens when a designer covets another another designer? He celebrates it with a photo shoot with stylist/editor pal Katie Grand and Manuela Pavesi, a photographer who happens to be Miuccia Prada‘s best friend . The three got together and gathered their favorite Prada pieces for a day of dress up with Jacobs…um, we can’t even fathom how awesome it would’ve been to have be there. At least we can gawk at all of the shots of Jacobs dressed in astounding head to toe Prada garments in this very appropriately titled, “Prada, I’m Your Biggest Fan” editorial.

Jacobs of course rocks pieces from both Prada’s mens and womenswear collections….the designer can pull anything off!

Anytime I think of a model falling mid catwalk, I’m immediately reminded of that one “Sex and the City” episode where Carrie totally eats it on the runway. Although in Bradshaw’s defense, she wasn’t an actual model…so when real models fall while strutting their stuff, part of me is humiliated and the other part of me is equally entertained. I mean, I love, love Lindsey Wixson but how hilariously horrible was the tumble (or “tumbles” if you wish) she took? And so I present to you our Model Monday, Katie Fogarty…but first (and most importantly) a video:

Model Katie Fogarty tumbling at the Prada Spring/Summer 2009 show! Luckily she gets help from audience members but then struggles again and takes her shoes off! I can’t help but wonder what she was thinking…perhaps Try and walk, try and walk..Ohmaaahgod Muiccia Prada is going to killl me. Okay, I’ll stop, I do actually feel bad for her…but not that bad because since her fall, her career has only risen. Known for her fair skin, precious pout and large eyes Katie has graced covers, starred in editorial and campaigns such as  Class by Roberto Cavalli Ad Campaign Spring/Summer 2011.

Taken by Steven Miesel, the shots feature rosy-cheeked models with fur accents. I love the snakeskin boots (how very Chloé, right?) and the muted neutrals, as well as their interesting take on color blocking-patterns (a trend that was major this season). Where last season’s collection was fun, this one is definitely more feminine and chic. Why yes, I would love to tote that purse on my arm! What’s even cooler is that Prada’s ad campaigns features three girls new to the business, Kelly Mittendorf, Ondria Hardin and Antonia Wesseloh alongside the very successful Frida Gustavsson. Way to go Prada!
