Obviously we’re big Catherine Malandrino fans at MyFDB, and her resort collection encompasses many of the Malandrino details we’ve come to love. Her latest looks were in collaboration with FFAWN (The Foundation for the Advancement of Women Now) which was founded by singer, Mary J. Blige, who strutted he runway alongside Catherine. The Malandrino + FFAWN collection pays homage to iconic moments in fashion and music with images like Tina Turner and Grace Jones.

Highlights included studded leather jackets, high-waist wide-leg pants, cool jersey t-shirts and caftans. Best of all her resort collection was for a cause- a pledge of 100% of the evening’s ticket proceeds were donated to FFAWN- with a goal to raise enough funds to send a graduating class of seniors from the Women’s Academy of Excellence in Bronx, NY to college.
