Target’s ‘Go International’ Celebrates Five Years!

Oct 28, 2010 By Vaneza

According to Racked, Target just announced that it will be celebrating the fifth anniversary of its Go International designer collaboration line with a re-release of 34 dresses from 17 of their previously-featured designers. The Go International series launched in February of 2006 with much success as international high fashion and style was offered at an affordable price nationally via Target stores.

British designer Luella Bartley was the first designer to collaborate with Target as designers Tara Jarmon, Proenza Schouler, Erin Fetherston, Thakoon, Rodarte, Zac Posen and Tucker (among others) slowly joined the roster. The dresses will be announced in February of 2011 and sold in Target stores from March 13th through April 10th. The re-launch will even include pieces from designers that no longer exsist, such as Jovovich-Hawk. We think that Target’s timing is perfect, we will be done with our “spring cleaning” and ready to welcome these re-releases into our closets…But which ones? Perhaps the leopard Rodarte dress? Or that signature Proenza Schouler corset? We will just have to wait to find out!
