Move over Anna Wintour! As much as I love you I can’t help but have even more love for one of your fellow colleagues…Anna Dello Russo, Editor of Vogue Nippon. Feathers, leather, loud patterns, and fruit hats, as well as her extreme love for leopard are just a few of the aesthetics that make up her coveted wardrobe. There are only a few fierce fashion risks that this Anna won’t take and that’s why I can’t help but want to be her. I also couldn’t help but squeal with excitement when I realized she graced the latest cover of 10 magazine. Shot by Giampaolo Sgura, the editorial, rightfully titled The Visionaries:

Anna, showcases Miss Dello Russo in the coolest of frocks, while also being primped and pampered by a team…Hey, working girls need a little help sometimes too right?

A bronzed and fierce Dello Russo was also shot for this month’s W, as she welcomed readers into her humble abode where fashion, art and inspiration collide. As if she wasn’t cool enough already, she also recently hit the blogosphere with her amazing official website. Her image filled blog even comes with a scroller – that in true Dello Russo fashion – leaves behind a trace of red sparkles! Unlike fashion bloggers whose beaus double as their photogs, Dello Russo is known for having a close relationship with blogger and photographer Tommy Ton, who has captured Dello Russo at her best…Hello, Vogue Paris Ball?? Need I say more!?

If 30 was the new 20 ten years ago, then Dello Russo is making the late 40′s look like the early 20′s with more style, grace and a little extra pizazz. At 48, it seems like there is nothing she can’t do or make cool. She just launched her eponymous fragrance in the adorable shape of a shoe and according to WWD, has plans on launching a singing career. Why? Dello Russo said, “Everyone expects me to do a clothes line. It’s too obvious. I want to do the opposite.” Aside from all this, or rather on top of it, Dello Russo is often times asked by designers to grace their runways as a model. Most recently, she walked alongside models, Lindsey Wixson, Dree Hemingway and Pixie Geldof for Lanvin for H&M. A hot-pink clad Dello Russo worked it with an adorable grey poodle in tow.

I can’t help but love that 10 nailed it perfectly when they chose to feature Miss Anna Dello Russo as a visionary because she truly is. I am eagerly looking forward to what she produces next…imagine what her album will sound like!? Kanye moooove over!
