It has been said that supermodel, Liu Wen is China’s brightest fashion star. This may seem like quite the reputation to live up to, but not for Wen who has that statuesque, model-like presence and ever-growing resume to prove that she’s in fact one amazing top model.

Wen is a native of Yongzhou, China, a city within the Hunan Province, and she began modeling in 2005 with a great deal of success. Her first major projects included editorials for both Vogue China and Chinese Harper’s Bazaar. Wen has also appeared in the pages of other influential fashion magazines such as: Pop, Teen Vogue, British Harper’s Bazaar, Vogue British, i-D, and W. She has walked the runways of Burberry, Costume National, Chanel, Balenciaga, Chlo�, Louis Vuitton, Alexander McQueen, and Lanvin. So, I guess you could consider Wen a true blue veteran when it comes to catwalks and cameras.

Wen has been the face of Calvin Klein‘s One fragrance and Spring/Summer 2010 ad campaign. She was also the face of Est�e Lauder cosmetics alongside Constance Jablonski, becoming the first Chinese model to do so.

Another fun fact about Ms. Wen is that she was the first Asian model to walk the Victoria’s Secret fashion show! Now all she needs to do is get her angel wings! Wen is really racking up the “firsts” of everything; you go girl! According to New York Magazine, Wen is known for her fabulous cheek bones and cute smile. She’s also known as one of the good girls of the industry, and that’s exactly what I love that about her!
