Well, “Hello!” Honeysuckle Heaven!

Okay so in all honesty, I don’t really consider myself a “girlie girl.” On any given day I would much rather rock a simple black dress, loose grandpa sweater and elf boots over anything with even a hint of pink in it. And come to think of it, I don’t own one pink thing, not even an accessory! However, ever since Pantone announced that Honeysuckle was set to be the 2011 color of the year, I’ve began contemplating taking a few fashion risks to embrace a more girlish side, just in time for the new year.

The lovely magazine Flaunt and stylist, Lucy Ewing must’ve seen Pantone’s announcement coming because the magazine’s latest editorial, “Under the Pink” is all about Honeysuckle! Shot by Jane Mcleish Kelsey model, Giedre Dukauskaite rocks the latest frocks in shades of pink. After seeing the shots, I’m thinking of slowly transitioning into pink with rad socks or the quirky glasses that Giedre rocks! As for my favorite elf boots…well let’s just say it’s safe to say that those are here to stay!
