Who Copied Who? Vogue Italia Beauty or Lanvin for H&M?

Dec 10, 2010 By Mckenzie

Vogue Italia’s latest issue of their beauty supplement, Vogue Italia Beauty looks vaguely familiar to me. Both their cover and their editorial, C’est Chic look like interpretations from the Lanvin for H&M runway show. These beauty trends include that pop of bright yellow and purple, the dark sultry lips and eyes, and of course the hairpieces made of netting and feathers. I would say if both Vogue Italia Beauty and Lanvin for H&M are sporting these elegant yet wild looks, then they must be here for keeps, and will be the next BIG thing for beauty.

I love the cat-eye eyeliner accented with sweeps of color in the C’est Chic editorial; well done Dotti, the makeup artist of the spread. Hopefully when I try these trends out at home I can execute the perfect eyeliner sans bumps, squiggles and smudges!
