H&M Recycles Lopez & Lagerfeld’s Muse
Going green seems to be the latest among Spring 2011 trends and no, I am not talking about the color. H&M is kicking off their Spring 2011 collection with eco-friendly pieces featuring models Sessilee Lopez and Lagerfeld’s muse, Baptiste Giabiconi for “Sustainable Style.” Each item is made from organic cotton, recycled polyester, and or recycled wool. Additionally, the garments will have a green label which includes details about which materials were used. The looks are casual and bright, while also including more feminine patterned dresses for women (as shown above).
We can’t help but wonder…Did Baptiste pose to his music hit while modeling for the campaign? And if so, how did Lopez feel about his singing talent?
