Karlie Kloss On Fire At John Galliano’s Dior Haute Couture Show

Jan 25, 2011 By Amy

Dramatic hues, wild makeup, and glamorous gowns surrounded John Galliano‘s Spring 2011 Christian Dior Haute Couture collection. Opening the show was model crush and current Dior face, Karlie Kloss in a haute red number complimented by intense firey red makeup. Galliano’s couture designs for this season were inspired by illustrator Renee Grau, who worked closely with Christian Dior during his career.

From bright colors and head pieces to the darker hued reds, I (as always) loved all the looks from Galliano. As well, I loved seeing the sophistication of the pieces compared to the designer’s flowery fete for fall last season.

What are your thoughts on the collection and which look is your favorite?
